Helena Vasconcelos
Born in Lisbon in 1949, she is an author and a literary critic in Público newspaper. She works on the promotion of reading habits in collaboration with Libraries, Universities, and Foundations. She was given the Revelation Award of the National Culture Centre with the short stories book Não há Horas para Nada (published by Relógio D’Água). The following titles are part of her work: O Pintor do Desassossego. Monografia de Mário Eloy, (published by Caminho), A Infância é um Território Desconhecido (essay), Humilhação e Glória (essay).
