Rui Horta Pereira
Rui Horta Pereira, Évora, 1975, graduated in Sculpture from FBAUL. Since the year 2000, his work has focused mainly on sculpture and drawing, and on the way in which the construction of the creative process is not disassociated from the action of the creator, in all its aspects - ethical, social, environmental -, and how this relationship can be realised effectively. He has held individual exhibitions on a regular basis and participated in collective exhibitions. In recent years he has also obtained support for creation from some entities, among which the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Directorate-General for the Arts.
