Patrícia Reis
Patrícia Reis began her journalistic career in 1988 in the weekly newspaper O Independente. She worked at Sábado magazine, and did an internship at the American Time magazine, in New York.
Back in Portugal, she was invited to work at the weekly newspaper Expresso, she was a producer of the TV show Sexualidades, and worked in the magazines Marie Claire and Elle, and also in special projects at the daily newspaper Público.
The editor of Egoísta magazine, she is the founding partner of 004, taking part in very diverse projects.
She published the biographies of Vasco Santana, Simone de Oliveira, and Maria Antónia Palla.
She wrote the photographic novel Beija-me (2006) with João Vilhena, the novel Cruz das Almas (2004), and the novels Amor em Segunda Mão (2006), Morder-te o Coração (2007), which was in the list of the 50 finalist books of the Portugal Telecom Literature Award, No Silêncio de Deus (2008), and Antes de Ser Feliz (2009), Contracorpo (2012), Tudo o que nos Separa por Causa de um Copo de Whisky (2014), and Gramática do Medo, written with Maria Manuel Viana (2015).
She is the author of the blog Fictiongram, with daily online publishing in the newspaper Expresso, and she participates weekly in Antena 1’s program A Páginas Tantas, the 15th most popular radio show within RDP.
